CWPS Pension & Supreme Court ruling on registered employment agreements

A Supreme Court Ruling declared that the system for making Registered Employment Agreements, which includes the obligations to make contributions to CWPS to be unconstitutional.

Please note that existing employees are unaffected by these terms but of course it does mean that  terms and conditions can be renegotiated  with existing employees, without being bound by the minimum contributions that have to be made to the pension.

All new employees can be employed without making any contributions to the pension scheme.
